Sizes XS-3XL

The stalwart women who braved the 19th century American prairie wore full yet practical housedresses of washable cotton.  This flowing dress was traditionally worn with a practical apron.  Ours falls to the ankles in voluminous gathers from a gracefully rounded yoke.  It has long sleeves gathered at the shoulders and into buttoned cuffs.  The ruffled collar is set into a collar band, and the dress has pockets set into both side seams.  The deep front opening typical of this era closes with buttons in the yoke; hooks and eyes can be used to fasten the long opening.

The flounced apron has two keyhole pockets and a waistband that buttons in the back.  Instructions for decorative feather stitch are included inside pattern.  For contemporary wear, this dress is charming in the authentic version worn with or without the apron, mid-calf (cut to street length) or ankle length, the dress is feminine and comfortable. also, if you prefer, the front opening can be shortened, and the neck can be finished with the collar band only.  Instructions for vintage embroidered finishing touches are included.

Era: Victorian, mid to late 1800s

For children we have the 213 Child's Prairie Dress and Pinafore pattern.

Suggested fabrics: For the Dress, choose soft fabrics such as calico, gingham, muslin, lightweight cotton, rayon, or wool challis. For the Apron, choose light or medium-weight cotton such as gingham, broadcloth, or muslin.

The best amplifier Ive had since my 1985 Yamaha R-7.
Style: 7.2 Receiver
The Yamaha rx-v6a, tsr-700, and yes, the rx-a2a, are all pretty much the same AVR, on the same firmware channel. Same power, same dacs, same dac implementation, same output stages, same construction, they’re the same. The a2a has a 5th foot, and 2 ten thousand micro farad capacitors in the power supply, while the v6a and tsr-700 have 2 eighty-one hundred micro farad capacitors in the power supply, and only 4 feet. These 2 tiny differences make no difference in sound quality or reliability, whatsoever. All three are simply awesome. From the DACS to the amps, and everything in between, these Yamahas sound better and out perform all the others. The HDMI boards have all been updated, and the firmware is mature. To even match these in sound quality and reliability and longevity, you would have to spend many thousands of dollars. Of the rx-v6a, the tsr-700, and the rx-a2a, which ever one is on sale for the least, get that one, because they’re the same device. In this case, that’s a good thing because you’ll love them.

Yamaha quality, solid audio
Style: 7.2 Receiver
Best in class YAMAHA .... better than DENON or ONKYO in my opinion. DENON and ONKYO both have issues with overheating and then shutting down. Yamaha cruises along on same power level without any hiccups.

SOUND - is Amazing, Incredible and better than the movie theater!
Style: AVR-X1800H
Arrived quickly. Setup was easy for for quick start, but to fine tune will take a good deal of effort (fun for me so no issues). OK, SOUND - is amazing, incredible and better than the movie theater! (paired with Klipsch 5.1, but will turn it into a 7.2). Drowns out my neighbors dogs which bark all the time - this system can get loud but the clarity is crisp and clean. Recall 20 years ago this system would have cost $10k plus for everything, now set me back around $1500 for all. But this review is on the receiver and it is superb! Looks brand new, has sufficient warranty and 90-day return option so more than enough time to try and determine for yourself. The price is about $2-300 lower than a new one and every bit as effective so I definitely recommend this product to anyone that wants a very high quality home theater at a super low price point. Entry level to experienced, this receiver should satisfy all.

8.5 sound out of the box! (Want bespoke configs? Sorry.) Great Value, Easy Setup
Style: AVR-X1800H
Excellent unit. Off the shelf sound is very nice, but every room is different, so a bit of tweaking is usually required. Accessing the EQ settings takes a bit of sleuthing and the use of its app... which is subpar. The app interface can only be explained as designed by people who must not actually use it. Still, a wonderful machine at a fair price. I run in ECO mode and it powers my 35x47 room with plenty of power to spare and NEVER gets hot. I am running Infinity Reference speakers and a Klipsch sub in a 7.1 config. I highly recommend the use of the included Audyssey calibration microphone! My prior experience with Yamaha YPAO left me wondering what was the point. This time with the Denon, it set up the speakers, (i'm embarrassed to say) better than I did on my own. (To be fair, I'm sure Yamaha has improved its YPAO in the decade since my prior purchase) Bottom line. If you want maximum flexibility on EQ. Shop a different solution. However, If you want quality sound with 4K and up to and including ATMOS processing, with minimal tweaking, or just want to unbox and play, this is a wonderful unit at a very fair price.
