One is thick, perfect for cleansing, while the other is a thin pad ideal for soaking with toner and placing on skin for absorption—like a Korean sheet mask. Pads are great but very thin. Fine for very light use but prefer pads a bit thicker. They do wipe well and are easy on the skin and would function fine for light chores. I like that they come in a case for storage.
