I have both large and xl size- just depends on my outfit and how I'm feeling-i'm in between sizes so the L is a little more fitted, the xl still looks cute, but gives a little room, esp in the waist- its not as flattering, but cooler and comfy for days I need. I think this shrunk/tightened up a bit in the wash/dry, but not a ton (I don't remember, so think it wasn't much, anyway).
