Lavender, Italian  (Lavandula angustifolia) is a popular and versatile aromatic herb belonging to the Lamiaceae (mint) family. It is native to the Mediterranean region but is now cultivated in various parts of the world for its fragrant flowers and essential oil. Italian Lavender is highly regarded for its soothing scent, beautiful blooms, and diverse applications in aromatherapy, culinary uses, and skincare.

Appearance: Italian Lavender is a small, evergreen shrub that typically grows up to 2 to 3 feet (60 to 90 centimeters) in height. It has narrow, linear leaves that are grayish-green in color, and its flowers are typically violet-blue, although some varieties can have pink or white blooms. The flowers are arranged in dense spikes on long stems.

Aromatherapy and Relaxation: The essential oil derived from Italian Lavender is widely used in aromatherapy for its calming and relaxing properties. The scent of lavender is known to promote a sense of tranquility and can help reduce stress and anxiety. It is often used in diffusers, massage oils, bath products, and personal care items to induce relaxation and improve sleep quality.

Culinary Uses: Italian Lavender flowers and leaves can be used to add a delicate floral flavor and aroma to culinary creations. They are often used sparingly in both sweet and savory dishes, such as desserts, teas, syrups, infused oils, and herb blends. Lavender pairs well with ingredients like honey, lemon, berries, and chocolate.

Skincare and Personal Care: Italian Lavender is a popular ingredient in skincare and personal care products due to its soothing and cleansing properties. Lavender-infused oils, creams, lotions, and soaps are used to moisturize the skin, relieve irritation, and promote a sense of well-being. Lavender hydrosol (flower water) is also used as a facial toner and mist.

Medicinal Benefits: Lavender has a long history of traditional medicinal use. It is believed to possess anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and analgesic properties. Lavender essential oil is used topically to help soothe minor skin irritations, insect bites, and sunburn. It can also be used in aromatherapy for headache relief and as a natural insect repellent.

Cultivation: Italian Lavender thrives in well-drained, sandy or loamy soil with full sun exposure. It is a hardy plant that can tolerate drought conditions once established. Pruning the plant after flowering helps maintain its shape and promote healthy growth. The flowers can be harvested and dried for culinary or aromatic purposes.

Italian Lavender is generally considered safe when used in moderation and as directed. However, it's always advisable to perform a patch test before using lavender products on the skin, especially for individuals with known sensitivities or allergies. If you have specific health concerns or are considering using lavender for medicinal purposes, it's recommended to consult with a healthcare professional or aromatherapist for personalized advice.

¿Snake oil? At least it worked for me
Style: Modifier, Style: Modifier
Very cheap compared to buying it locally, here in my country. Used the Ceratec with the Leuchtlauf High Tech oil. 143K miles on my 2.5 mk6 Jetta. It started to make some tappet/lifters noise, very minimal but it was there. As soon as I started the engine, and about 30 minutes in , I could clearly hear the difference. How I heard the difference? With the hood closed now I can barely hear the engine, unless I put my ear close to the grille. Now I only hear the working injectors. Totally recommended. Can’t speak about gas consumption, I’ll have to drive 500-1000 miles to speak confidently. Recommended for giving older engines a longer lifespan. Update: After 15 days or so, and about 150-200miles later, I noticed my Jetta’s engine feels lighter and smoother. No placebo effect, it’s just there. Since I bought two Ceratec bottles, I used the second bottle on a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport with the Mivec 2.0 engine. These engines are quite noisy, specially the injection noises, and I had a very concerning lifters ticking. I did my oil change yesterday, and today the ticking is gone, all I did was use Liquimolys engine flush, Valvoline oil and the Ceratec. I’ll post an update if I get better fuel economy and smoothness on my Mitsu.

Durable and well fitting
Durable and well fitting. I drive a Honda Accord 2014 and when the under engine covers started falling off I used these to replace the ones that came off. They work well and the prying tool made replacing the retainers easier.

This product has many different sizes making it easy to fit clips in other parts of the car.
I was working on my grandson Honda. It was missing the plastic clips to hold the fender liners in place. This worked great and helped hold the fender in place. I used the puller tool many times on other plastic parts on the car.
