Choose your quantity: Single pot perfect for small tanks, or grab multi-packs for larger scapes at a better price!

Pearlweed is a dense creeping grower that propagates through runners and branches. Quick growing, it is a haven for tiny fish and baby shrimp! This potted variety of "Hemianthus/Micranthemum Micranthemoides" is excellent for bare-bottomed tanks! Although Co2 is not at all needed, you'll see denser, lower carpeting growth with a higher-tech set up. Keep trimming for a dense carpet. Pearlweed will get tall and leggy in lower light.

Pots are 1-3" tall, well-rooted. EMERGENT-GROWN OR SUBMERGED-GROWN

Cassandra's Notes: We get a lot of questions about separating these sort of plants from the potted rockwool it's in. Yes, you can absolutely leave the rockwool in your tank! It's pretty inert, and will not harm your tank nor its inhabitants. If you want to keep it potted, you totally can! That said, if the rockwool is really not doing it for you, but you're worried about disturbing too much of the delicate root system these creepers have built, try this: Use some scissors to snip apart the top of the rockwool where the plant has rooted from the bottom. Snip into a flat circle, resembling a 'mat' of sorts. Now you can place that little mat in the gravel or other substrate, without having torn up too much of the root system!

Growing Suggestions:

  • Medium to Low light needs
  • Low tech, unheated aquarium, 60-80F
  • Fast upright/creeping growth rate
  • Root tabs recommended: No
  • Excellent forage and shelter

As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there’s always a chance of harmless hitchhikers like snails or dwarf shrimp tagging along with your plants!

I personally keep several beneficial snail species in my tanks, including Colorful Ramshorns, Bronze Bladder and Pond Snails, Mini Rams, and Malaysian Trumpet Snails. These snails stay relatively small, help clean the aquarium, and do not eat healthy plants or cause harm. However, if you’d rather avoid any hitchhikers, I highly recommend checking out our blog on how to safely disinfect aquarium plants before adding them to your tank:
How to Bleach Dip Aquarium Plants Safely

All plants are freshly snipped or harvested and packed right before shipment. I take great care in preparing every order and use methods that have consistently produced the best results over many years in the hobby. A lot of love goes into every package, so please don’t leave your plants sitting in a hot mailbox for too long 🙏

Thank you for looking, aqua friends! 💚

My dog likes it!
Size: Medium, Color: Antler, Size: Medium, Color: Antler
My aggressive chewer loves it! I have a 20 pound rat terrier ....small was recommended, but we went with a medium. He went to work on it right away. He is not picky about chew bones but it makes me feel better that it is a natural material. The chewed photo is about 30 mins after giving it to him.

Not for us!
Size: Large, Color: Antler
I'm sure for a dog that doesn't chew, would be great. Ours went through it in days, leaving sharp shards and making his gums bleed.

Power Chewer Loves This!
Size: Medium, Color: Antler
This is my dog's new favorite chew! She loves that she can hold it in her paws. I think she really loves the taste and texture of it. I don't give her antlers as I have heard too many horror stories about broken teeth. I also don't give her nylon toys as I have also heard a lot of horror stories of broken teeth as well as concerns about them digesting the plastic. This is between antlers and bully sticks, which is perfect for a power chewer. I feel comfortable with her eating the pieces that flake off this toy. She loves chewing and she will default to this toy when she wants to help calm down. I don't notice much of a smell. It does flake, but not enough I will even take a star off. Plus, it's plant based and vacuums up easily once dried. It doesn't capture her attention as much as bully sticks or beef cheek chews, but it's much less expensive over time and doesn't stink up our living room! She will also always pick this over any of her rubber chews. Great product and recommend it for all the power chewers.

Crumbly, odd texture
Size: Large, Color: Duo Pack
Neither of my dogs were very interested in these. They did chew on the antler-shaped versions more so than the infinity-style versions. When they did chew on these, they didn’t hold up well or last long. These have a strange, crumbly texture when chewed. You’ll find bits and pieces of these chews where the dogs have been chewing. Will not be reordering.
